Applications are now open for the National Taiwan University (NTU) Scholarship, and entry will be in February 2025. It is a full scholarship for international students enrolling in the Master’s or Doctoral program at NTU. Taipei is the home of this university, which holds one of the highest rankings across Asia and provides various undergraduate and graduate programs under all categories.
The Scholarship will offer full support to the selected students at NTU. For a Master’s student, the scholarship period is valid for up to 2 years; for PhD students, it is up to 4 years. Tuition fees come under Scholarship, and a monthly stipend is also covered for

Eligibility Criteria:
International students from any country are eligible to apply.
For Master’s programs, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree. For PhD programs, a Master’s degree is required.
Applicants must meet the language proficiency requirements of the department they are applying to.
The first requirement is a strong academic record.
Advantages of the NTU Scholarship:
An allowance is given monthly to each graduate student with a value of TWD 8,000, equal to around USD 29, to aid graduate students in obtaining a Master’s degree.
A higher TWD 10,000 is given to the PhD students in the College of Liberal Arts, Law, Management, and Social Science.
Monthly stipend of TWD 15,000 (about USD 500) for PhD students in the College of Science, Engineering, Medicine, Bio-Resources & Agriculture, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Public Health, and Life Science.
The tuition waiver can be as high as TWD 65,000 (about USD 2,167) per semester.
